Don't be afraid to show your scars, because you can rise above them.
Okay, after six hours, listening to Rammstein for inspiration, four cups of coffee, and a lot of work, here is the finished product! I'm not satisfied with a good amount of it..... So please pardon its roughness, this is my fourth drawing ever, there's a lot to improve. I'd appreciate comments. I used a 4B pencil and a tortillion, that's it. Also I didn't use a graph. Oh, here's a link for the song I wrote that goes by the same title: [link]
I don't the the scars look quite the way they should, but right now I'm not sure how to make them look....real. I'll probably do this drawing again someday so it can be perfect.

Ah, Rammstein. Rammstein is good for meditating on scars. They're a very sadomasochistic band, you know. I especially like their adaptation of Haifisch. And the song Dalai Lama. I suppose some of their songs do inspire a certain sense of angry rebellion, yes.
Anyway. As for your drawing. I like this. It captures wound and werewithal, both of which happen to be of utmost importance. One cannot rise above unless there is something above which to rise. Don't worry about the roughness. The subject matter is rough - why ought the drawing fail to reflect this? It works to your advantage, I think. And because I'm tired, and my coffee has long since worn off, I'm beginning to rant like the 24yr old geezer I am. Again, I do like this very much. Very provocative. Now. Good evening, night, morning, whatever.
